A Good Night

This evening we were invited by Big D Construction to the Association of Builders and Contractors ABC awards banquet. We had two buildings that received award. Both buildings are in the University of Utah Research Park.

We won the award for best Commercial Building 5 to 10 million dollars for 505 Wakara. The building was designed by Architectural Nexus and was built by Big D Construction. Big D brought the building in on time and under budget. My nephew Josh Woodbury did a great job putting this project together. I really am grateful for the good work performed by Lynn Woodbury’s department in coordinating this complicated project.

"We are fortunate and blessed to be able to work with such great contractors and designers."

We tore down a building that was one of the first buildings built in the Research Park, but we kept the existing building tenants in business during the construction period.

Big D has a history with our company working on complicated sites and doing an excellent job.

I really think this project is an awesome project in our portfolio.

The second award was for 630 Komas for Best Commercial Building 10 to 20 million dollars.

The build was substantially designed by my nephew Luke Woodbury and our internal staff. We have a lot of great talent in our corporate family. The building was built by R&O Construction. They always bring their projects in on time and on budget. I really like those guys.

We are fortunate and blessed to be able to work with such great contractors and designers.

All in all it was a good night for Woodbury Corporation. Keep up the good work!
