W. Richards Woodbury
W. Richards Woodbury is the Chairman of Woodbury Corporation, and served as President/CEO of the company for 34 years, and is an active partner/member in more than 100 real estate entities. Rick has been active in trade association activities, serving as past Chair of both the Public Policy Coordinating Committee and the Federal Tax Committee of the National Association of Realtors, and past state Chairman of the International Council of Shopping Centers. He is also a member of NAIOP, the Urban Land Institute, and the Utah and American Bar Associations. Mr. Woodbury graduated from the University of Utah with a B.A. in economics, and then earned both MBA and JD degrees from Harvard University.
O. Randall Woodbury, CPM®
O. Randall Woodbury became President of Woodbury Corporation in May 2011. Previously, he has directed the company’s property management department since 1981, during which time the management portfolio grew to exceed ten million square feet in thirteen Western and Midwestern states. He holds active Utah real estate and insurance licenses. In 1987, he earned the Certified Property Manager® designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management, an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors, for which he has served in many local and national leadership positions. In 2010, Mr. Woodbury was honored to represent IREM as its international president. He is a graduate of the University of Utah having earned a B.A. in Business Finance with emphasis on Real Estate.
E. Taylor Woodbury
Chief Operating Officer
E. Taylor Woodbury serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Woodbury Corporation. He is also a principal in Woodbury Strategic Partners Management which manages Woodbury’s private equity fund. Mr. Woodbury is involved with various departments in the company, including accounting, finance, development, legal, and administration. Mr. Woodbury is a member of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society, the Utah Bar Association, and he was an adjunct professor in the MBA program at Westminster College’s Gore School of Business in Corporate Finance. He graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Economics and earned J.D. and MBA degrees from The George Washington University.
Scott S. Bishop
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER AND VP
Scott S. Bishop is the Chief Financial Officer and a Vice President for Woodbury Corporation. Mr. Bishop oversees all aspects of construction, bridge, and permanent financing for the Woodbury portfolio of properties. He reviews individual property financial statements and performance reports and originates new projects including the development of new projects and acquisition of existing ones. Mr. Bishop is a member of ICSC and a licensed Realtor. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.S. in Finance.
Jeffrey K. Woodbury
Sr. VICE PRESIDENT – DEVELOPMENT & ACQUISTIONS
Jeffrey K. Woodbury is an Officer, Director, Legal Counsel and Sr. Vice President of Development and Acquisitions at Woodbury. For more than twenty years, Mr. Woodbury has been an integral part of deal sourcing, financing, acquisition, brokering, design, construction, marketing, and management of numerous projects varying from medical research centers and office buildings to industrial facilities and multi- tenant shopping centers. In his more than two decades of professional experience with the legal and developmental aspects of real estate, he has successfully dealt with publicly-traded corporations, individually-owned companies, government entities, special interest groups, universities and recreation groups. In addition to his extensive background in development, Mr. Woodbury brings his great enthusiasm and knowledgeable vision to every project. Mr. Woodbury earned a B.A. in History from the University of Utah and a J.D. with honors from Drake University Law School receiving American Jurisprudence Awards in Civil Procedure, Real Estate Transactions and Real Estate Finance. Mr. Woodbury also serves on the IRET Board of Trustees.
Lynn S. Woodbury
Sr. VICE PRESIDENT – ARCHITECTURE
Lynn S. Woodbury is the Sr. Vice President of Architecture at Woodbury Corporation. Mr. Woodbury is a licensed architect in seven western states including Utah, Idaho, Arizona, Montana, Colorado, Nebraska, and Washington. He is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and a member of the University of Utah College of Architecture and Planning Advisory Board. He is chairman of the Sandy, Utah auto mall area architectural review board and a member of the American Institute of Architects, Urban Land Institute, and the International Council of Shopping Centers. Mr. Woodbury is responsible for the Design & Construction Management for all of the Woodbury Corporation projects. Mr. Woodbury earned a B.A. in Business Finance and a Masters of Architecture at the University of Utah.
Guy R. Woodbury
Sr. VICE PRESIDENT – HOSPITALITY
Guy R. Woodbury has worked over 20 years in the hospitality industry overseeing the development and management of Woodbury Corporation’s hotels. Mr. Woodbury is passionate about creating successful hotels through partnering with strong brands, developing quality product, and by providing memorable guest service, aggressive marketing, prudent financial controls and an enjoyable work environment. Mr. Woodbury has served for many years with Visit Salt Lake as a Trustee, on the Executive Committee, and as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees. He is a member of the Utah State Bar Association. Mr. Woodbury graduated from the University of Utah with a B.S. in marketing, earned an MBA from Northwestern University where he was an Austin Scholar, and earned a JD from University of California, Berkeley.
Walker Kennedy III
VICE PRESIDENT & GENERAL COUNSEL
Walker Kennedy III is currently Vice President & General Counsel for Woodbury Corporation. He was admitted to the Utah State Bar in 1986. He has served on various boards and advisory committees throughout his professional career, including the Defense Depot Ogden Reuse Committee and the Ogden Union Station Foundation Board. Mr. Kennedy has also served as a Law Instructor, a member of the Board of Advisors for Westminster College and a Judge ProTem Fifth Circuit Court for the State of Utah. He is a member of International Council of Shopping Centers Bankruptcy Task Force and has served as a member of the Urban Design Users Group for the Ogden/Weber Conference and Performance Arts Center. Mr. Kennedy earned a B.A. Cum Laude from Drake University and a J.D. from the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah.
Jonathan O. Woodbury
VICE PRESIDENT – PROPERTY MANAGEMENT
Jonathan O. Woodbury serves as Director and Vice President over Property Management. In 20 years with the company, he has gained extensive knowledge in accounting and operations in addition to his involvement from on-site property management to complete portfolio management. Mr. Woodbury oversees the operations of over 10 million square feet of retail and office properties, and has directed the company’s property management department since May 2011. Mr. Woodbury also oversees financial reporting, partner distributions, and maintains investor relations. He is a licensed Realtor and earned a B.S. in Finance from the University of Utah.
Joseph D. Rich
Joseph D. Rich serves as a Vice President of Woodbury Corporation. Since Mr. Rich joined Woodbury Corporation in 1990, he has played a major role in the growth of the company’s portfolio. Mr. Rich is actively involved in development activities such as entitlement, financing, tenant relations, partner relations, and project management. He is a licensed Realtor and has been a member of ICSC since 1994. Mr. Rich graduated with a B.S. in Finance from the University of Utah.
Arthur joined Woodbury Corporation in April 2012. He is Managing Director of the Woodbury Capital funds and oversees asset management for the Woodbury Strategic Partners Fund. He is also part of the leadership team directing the redevelopment of University Place in Orem. Prior to joining Woodbury Corporation, Arthur spent four years working in the Real Estate Private Equity teams at the Blackstone Group (BREDS) and with Goldman Sachs (REPIA) in London where he participated on transactions totaling more than $6 billion. Arthur has a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania with a minor in Urban Real Estate Development in conjunction with the Wharton School and a Masters in Finance and Strategy from l’Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po).
Joshua B. Woodbury
Vice President of Acquisitions
Joshua B. Woodbury is a Director and serves as Vice President of Acquisitions of Woodbury Corporation. With efforts focused within the Real Estate Development and Acquisitions Department, Joshua is centrally involved with the financial analysis, deal making, and legal documentation of new and potential projects for Woodbury Corporation and the Woodbury Strategic Partners Fund. Mr. Woodbury is a licensed Realtor and a member the J. Reuben Clark Law Society, International Council of Shopping Centers, and Urban Land Institute. He received a B.A. in History from Brigham Young University with a minor in Business, a J.D. from the University of Utah, and a M.S. in Real Estate Development from Columbia University.
Sina Dalley serves as a Director of Woodbury Corporation. Working for almost 20 years as an accountant for Woodbury, she has gained expertise in tax compliance and financial accounting. Ms. Dalley oversees the creation of over 250 business tax returns and over 2000 K-1s each year – numbers that continue to increase as Woodbury’s portfolio grows. She graduated with a B.S. in Physics from the University of Utah.
Danny Woodbury oversees all leasing efforts of Woodbury Corporation across its office and retail portfolio. His role extends into development and acquisitions and he works as a project lead on several developments. Danny previously worked at Seritage Growth Properties where he directed development efforts on a dozen Sears and Kmart redevelopments and helped formulate the company’s strategic business plan. He was also a senior researcher for the real estate group at Harvard Business School where he researched and wrote Harvard case studies and helped restructure the real estate curriculum. He graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in engineering from Brigham Young University and earned and an MBA from Harvard Business School where he graduated with honors.
