Woodbury Corporation names Gregory Suckow Associate General Counsel
Veteran commercial real estate attorney brings more than two decades of legal and real estate experience to Woodbury’s Legal Department
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (September 16, 2026) — Woodbury Corporation has named Gregory Suckow associate general counsel – leasing, adding an experienced commercial real estate attorney to the company’s Legal Department. In his new role, Suckow will negotiate a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, with a primary emphasis on leasing across Woodbury’s portfolio.
Suckow brings more than two decades of combined commercial real estate and legal experience to Woodbury, including extensive work representing national retailers in complex lease negotiations. Most recently, he served as leasing counsel for Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, a global owner and operator of flagship shopping centers where he provided legal and business counsel related to leasing, operations, strategic planning and portfolio decision-making.
His previous roles include director of real estate law for Ross Stores Inc. and director, corporate counsel – real estate for Sleep Number Corporation. During nearly 10 years with Sleep Number, Suckow oversaw the company’s legal real estate functions across its retail locations, production facilities, offices, storage locations and regional distribution centers. He personally negotiated and drafted 75 to 100 lease transactions annually and worked across departments to resolve a broad range of real estate matters.

At Woodbury, Suckow will work closely with the company’s leasing, development, asset management and property management teams to structure and negotiate commercial transactions. Woodbury executes dozens of leases each year across its retail, office, industrial and other commercial properties, making leasing counsel an integral part of the company’s real estate operations.

Suckow earned his Juris Doctor from William Mitchell College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in media communications from Truman State University. He has been licensed to practice law in Minnesota since 2006 and is a frequent industry speaker, including presentations for International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the National Retail Tenants Association (NRTA).
