Idaho Business Review: Richards “Rick” Woodbury — chairman of Woodbury Corporation and president/CEO for 30 years — is a veteran of the real estate industry who has a proven determination and unique ability to scope out real estate in a specific area. Relationship-building is at the front of his mind in each transaction, and he has a history of finding tenants when local commercial real estate agents don’t deliver. His commitment to treating each situation with integrity and delivering products with the utmost quality is something that he and Woodbury Corporation are known for.  An active member and partner in almost 200 real estate entities involving re-tail, office, multifamily and hotel projects, Woodbury’s activities in Idaho include the Magic Valley Mall, Breckenridge Shopping Center and Canyon Park Shop-ping Center in Twin Falls, three shopping centers in Idaho Falls, Riverside Plaza in Blackfoot, Centrepointe Marketplace in Meridian and another retail center in Boise, as well as the Residence Inn and Springhill Suites in Idaho Falls and nine student housing buildings in Rexburg. Currently serving as vice chair of the board of trustees of the Utah State School and Institutional Land Trust and chair of the Emerald Society at Utah Valley University, Woodbury is also a member of the advisory boards of the Wood-bury School of Business and Constitutional Studies Department at Utah Valley University. After graduating from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics, Woodbury then earned both his Master of Business Administration and Juris Doctor degrees from Harvard University.
