Woodbury Corporation Earns Eight Prestigious Marriott Awards for Hospitality Excellence

Residence Inn Idaho Falls named Hotel of the Year as Woodbury Corporation, its properties, and leaders receive national recognition from Marriott International.

 SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (June 29, 2026) — Woodbury Corporation has been recognized with eight prestigious Marriott awards, highlighting the company’s commitment to operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and hospitality leadership across its hotel portfolio.

Among the honors, Woodbury Corporation received the 2025 Marriott Partnership Circle Award, the highest honor Marriott International bestows upon its franchise and ownership partners for exceptional hospitality leadership and brand alignment. This elite accolade recognizes top-performing organizations that demonstrate a shared commitment to associate well-being, outstanding guest satisfaction scores, and continuous portfolio reinvestment

Woodbury Corporation received the 2025 Guest Satisfaction Excellence Award for the Residence Inn brand, recognizing Woodbury’s Residence Inn portfolio as the leader in guest satisfaction performance for the brand.

Woodbury’s Residence Inn by Marriott Idaho Falls received Marriott’s highest property distinction, the 2025 Hotel of the Year for the Residence Inn brand, recognizing a hotel that best exemplifies exceptional guest satisfaction, operational performance, team development, sales excellence, and overall hospitality leadership. This is the second time the hotel has received this honor, having previously earned the award for 2023.

Robert Thornock, general manager of the Residence Inn Idaho Falls, was one of three people named as 2025 Diamond General Manager of the Year for the Residence Inn brand. The award recognizes outstanding leadership, guest service excellence, operational success, revenue performance, and commitment to Marriott brand standards.

Yoli Lara, assistant general manager of the TownePlace Suites by Marriott Draper, received the 2025 TownePlace Suites Our Place Culture Leader of the Year Award. The honor recognizes the hotel leader who embodies the brand’s commitment to creating an environment where guests and associates feel at home while promoting a culture of teamwork, support, and hospitality.

Several Woodbury properties were also recognized with prestigious awards that honor hotels achieving outstanding performance across operations, guest satisfaction, quality assurance, revenue performance, and Marriott Bonvoy enrollment achievement:

  • The Residence Inn by Marriott Idaho Falls also earned Marriott’s 2025 Diamond Circle Award
  • The TownePlace Suites by Marriott Salt Lake City Draper earned Marriott’s 2025 Gold Circle Award
  • The Courtyard by Marriott Orem University Place was also honored with Marriott’s 2025 Silver Circle Award
